Solar Panel
Solar panels convert sunlight energy into electrical energy. In the morning and the evening the panels are less effective. There are two types of solar panels - Solar Panel (Static) and Rotating Solar Panel.
Rotating Solar Panel can track sun movement and produce electricity more effectively than static panel. To proper work it needs Solar Tracker or it can be set manually.

Usage and behavior
Solar panels can't be covered with any block, otherwise it won't produce electricity.
You can connect few Solar Panels in series or parallel. Single Solar Panel can produce 14,8V so you can't turn any device on.
Serial connection
When Solar Panels are connected in serial, the voltage adds up. For example 3 panels connected in series can produce 44,4V of electricity.
Parallel connection
In this type of connection the panels produces the same voltage but it have more available power.
The panels in parallel connection can deliver only 14,8V but you can connect it in serial-parallel to produce more voltage and more power.
Be careful in making large solar installations. Not only are they expensive but may also overload your components. They also do not produce much power in large arrays due to the large amount of loss on each panel. It is best to use them in lines no larger than 3, as the diminishing returns on 4 or higher are very noticeable. It is much more efficient to make many small isolated networks rather than one large network.
