Closer view of the steam generator. On the left is the turbine, then a joint (this is a mostly passive element to give some more length to the axle, it does add some mass though), then a tachometer, and finally a motor.

The tachometer is set in such a way that when the voltage goes over a setpoint, it dumps some power into the resistors to the right of the frame, using the relay.
