A Ferromagnetic core is used in inductors and transformers and is needed in order for them to run.
They come in 3 varieties
- Cheap Ferromagnetic Core - Multiplies cable loss by 10
- Average Ferromagnetic Core - Multiplies cable loss by 4
- Optimal Ferromagnetic Core - Won't increase cable loss at all
